Buddy: We adopted Buddy in
August, 2009 for our five year old daughter. He is now one year old,
neutered and almost twelve pounds. He's semi-fluffy, black with a smudge
of white on one ear and shoulder. He has beautiful round, amber
colored eyes. He is VERY loving and loves to plop down on your lap
any time it's available. He's good with the kids - pretty tolerant,
but will let them know when he's had enough. He is also playful -
his favorite toys are felt catnip mice and chasing the laser-pointer with
us. He is truly a love bug. He has been an indoor cat and we
would love it if he can continue to be. However, if completely safe
and necessary, he would probable do well as an indoor/outdoor guy.
Overall, he is a very mellow boy who will soak up all the love you give
him.
Rio: I found Rio
(RiRi) when she was two weeks old. She was very sick and I had the
honor of nursing her to health. She has been incredibly sweet,
gentle and healthy for ten years now. She will be eleven in August.
At her recent veterinary exam, Dr. Johnson said that Rio is in very good
health and has a lot of years left in her. She is my baby - my
first, before I had kids of my own. She is a little bit timid and
seems to get nervous around the kids but, overall, is very friendly and
sociable with people - as long as things are calm. She stays in the
master bedroom and is content there. We play relaxing music on the
radio for her. She seems to enjoy it. She is very loving with
us grown ups and loves to sleep on or next to us. She has always
been small, five pounds, and she is beautiful - white with black patches,
short haired. RiRi needs extra TLC. Someone who will give her
plenty of love and attention in a nice and calm home. She needs to
remain an indoor kitty. She had a flexor-desmotomy done years ago.
(instead of de-claw, they clip the tendon and she cannot flex her claws to
scratch.) Her claws are still there, she cannot use them. They
need to be clipped every month or so. She is spayed and gets along
well with other gentle cats. She has no interest in playing with the
other cats - only snuggling and grooming. She is very dear to me and
the most gentle cat I have ever known. (I've known and loved a lot
of them.)
Buddy is looking for a new home! He is a Rat Terrier, 10-12 lbs and in excellent health. He is 6 years old. Buddy needs to be an only dog... having to give him up because the other male dogs in the family are having a hard time adjusting to him. If you love Buddy, he'll love you... won't you call about him now?
