The Movie Gallery in Elgin, TX hosted an adoption event in combination with their Free Movie Weekend.  They are partnered with us to aid in spreading the word about the Elgin Humane Society to help in the increase of pet adoptions.

Petfinder is an on-line, searchable database of animals that need homes. It is also a directory of over 7,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the USA, Canada and Mexico. Organizations maintain their own home pages and available pet database.

Animal Trustees of Austin (ATA) is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 tax-exempt, nonprofit organization which exists for the charitable and educational purpose of representing, protecting, and finding new homes for animals.

Emancipet - A nonprofit organization, located in Austin, Texas, dedicated to the emancipation of pets  from euthanasia and overpopulation, and the interest of overall pet health and general animal welfare.

some questions about your dog(s), please contact Patty.  This service is FREE for you if you adopted your dog from the Elgin Humane Society.  Patty will come to you... no dragging your animal somewhere.  Keep him or her in their comfortable well known surroundings... your home.
